Available in over 100 countries, Tarkett Flooring is also suitable for a broad range of sectors from health and care to education, sports, leisure, hospitality and office settings.
With 24 labs worldwide and 60 full-time designers, Tarkett leads way in flooring innovation, becoming the first company to use mechanical embossing to create the most realistic natural textures and finishes as well as creating the first phthalate-free flooring and ensuring all products exceed EU standards for low VOC emissions.
From flooring especially designed for specific commercial environments to luxury design tiles for the home, Tarkett is highly-experienced at meeting the unique requirements of every customer. They are also committed to the wellbeing of the consumer, conducting several studies on the effect of colours and texture in aged care, health care, and educational environments.
A member of the Ellen McArthur Foundation, World Economics Forum, and the United Nations Global Compact, Tarkett is dedicated to producing the highest-quality vinyl flooring that is not only beautiful to look at but beneficial to the health and well-being of both their customers and the environment.
The first flooring company to receive Cradle to Cradle Gold certification amongst many other awards, Tarkett is a market leader in sustainable manufacturing with eight recycling centres worldwide and a circular economy model that incorporates the use of sustainable and responsibly-sourced natural materials, eco-friendly manufacturing processes, the recycling and reuse of waste materials.
All of Tarkett’s vinyl is water-resistant, making it a good choice for high-moisture areas like bathrooms or kitchens. If you want to create a completely waterproof floor, we recommend choosing one of Tarkett’s sheet roll vinyl designs rather than tiling – although both are water-resistant enough for normal bathroom use.
Tarkett vinyl flooring is a French company with manufacturing sites all around the world. Its products are made in France, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden, Serbia, Russia, Canada, and the US.
Tarkett floors are extremely easy to clean, making them a great option for areas like the kitchen or dining room. Tarkett’s surface treatment makes all its vinyl and laminate stain-resistant, meaning any spills can be quickly and easily wiped up. For a more general clean, first remove any dust or grit with a broom or vacuum. Then, go over your floor with a damp mop or cloth and a mild detergent. If you do come across any tougher stains, they should be easily lifted with a little white spirit or diluted alcohol.
Tarkett laminate flooring is made of high-density wood board and melamine. More than 60% of Tarkett’s wood is FSC or PEFC certified. Tarkett’s vinyl collections are largely made from phthalate-free PVC. Its sustainable linoleum collections are made from 94% natural raw materials.
